The module has requirements for installation

The development-platform module deploys Deckhouse Development Portal (DDP) in the cluster. DDP is a web portal where development teams create services from templates, manage environments and work with integrated infrastructure services through a single interface.

The module is configured with ModuleConfig development-platform. It installs the DDP web interface, its API, background workers and the platform AI agent, and either deploys PostgreSQL, Redis and ClickHouse in the cluster or connects to existing instances.

Main features

  • Templates and standard configurations. Teams create services from shared templates with CI/CD and Kubernetes configurations.
  • Environments. Creating, updating and deleting environments from the portal, automatic setup and removal of stands.
  • Integrations with infrastructure services. API integration, for example with a ticket system or firewall access management.
  • Development processes. A BPMN-like engine describes and runs multi-step development scenarios.
  • AI agents. The platform AI agent and external agents connected over the A2A protocol answer questions in the AI assistant and run steps of development processes.
  • Service catalog (CMDB). DDP collects data from infrastructure services into a service catalog and shows the dependencies between services.
  • Service health. DDP runs health checks and collects static analysis metrics, vulnerability data and CI/CD pipeline statuses.

System requirements

  • Deckhouse Platform 1.72 or later, Enterprise Edition.
  • The user-authn module: provides single sign-on (SSO) for DDP users.
  • For HTTPS certificates in the CertManager mode: the cert-manager module.
  • For PostgreSQL, Redis and ClickHouse deployed in the cluster: a default StorageClass.
